MEDIYOGA (FOR STRESS RELIEF)
As our world is becoming an increasingly stressful place, we need help in order to create a better balance in our lives and our everyday existence.
Mediyoga teaches you to listen to, and to take care of yourself. It is a powerful tool that helps your body and soul to find inner balance and to heal itself. Mediyoga is serene and deeply relaxing. Deep breathing, meditation, relaxation, simple movements and postures together with the mantra helps you to reduce stress, release tension, calm the mind and stay in shape.
It is a form of yoga that is suitable for everyone because they can exercise according to their own conditions and capacity. The exercises can even be carried out seated on a chair if you have trouble sitting on a yoga mat.
The Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Huddinge Sjukhus and Danderyd Hospital, since 1996 have had ongoing studies on mediyoga for various heart problems, heart attacks, burnout, migraines, MS, back problems etc, and the results has shown positive effects. Many hospitals in Sweden and Norway are using mediyoga as a part of their rehabilitation.
MEDIYOGA FOR WOMEN AND HORMONES
The hormones are the key to our delight. Mediyoga for women's hormones revitalize and balance the endocrine system. Stress is one of the biggest causes of hormonal imbalance and yoga helps to reduce our stress levels.
Hormone Yoga can be performed by all women, and is especially beneficial after 35 years of age because hormone levels normally decreases then. Hormone yoga is also good for PMS, PMDS, PCOS and other menopause symptoms, thyroid symptoms /problems and infertility. It increases energy preserves vitality.
Our Mediyoga classes are taught by Alexandra Attebrand. Alexandra is originally from Sweden and is settled in Oslo with her two children.
