MEDIYOGA FOR LABOR
Prenatal yoga is a way to get physically stronger and emotionally healthier during pregnancy, and helps you cope with challenges and stress.
It creates union and harmony between mother and child and body and mind, and is a wonderful tool to help you prepare for the upcoming birth.
Yoga strengthens your body at several levels and teaches you both to relax and focus.
Even if you never done yoga before, the modified moves taught in prenatal yoga are both safe and beneficial to expectant moms. Plus, women with difficult pregnancies may find comfort in mediyoga's gentle motions and breathing.
International studies show that women who exercise prenatal yoga have less pain and yoga improves sleep, reduces stress and anxiety.
The class involves: Breathing, mindfulness, inner focus training, gentle stretching and effective postures, endurance training, pelvic floor exercises, deep relaxation and meditation
The class is suitable from week 25 of pregnancy.
Our Mediyoga classes are taught by Alexandra Attebrand. Alexandra is originally from Sweden and is settled in Oslo with her two children.
