Write for Rights

Amnesty International's ‘Write for Rights’ (‘Skriv for liv’) campaign

Please join the letter writing event on Tuesday 15th of December at A Karma World!

We will write both protest-letters to government officials and letters of solidarity to those directly affected by human rights abuses. Letters are to be written in English, but if you can write Persian, Arabic, Uzbek, Burmese or Spanish you are more than welcome to write in these languages as well.
Sample letters, case cards, letter paper and envelopes are made available and letters will be sent collectively by Amnesty. There’ll be free coffee, cake and cookies, but please consider to contribute with a small donation for charity.

A hand-written letter is still one of the most powerful tools. So please join on this Tuesday afternoon for a nice chat and a good deed!
Kids, friends and spouses are of course more than welcome as well.

At you sign petitions and find information about this year’s cases.

If you have any questions about the event or if you want to contribute in any other way, please send a message to A Karma World, or send a message to Maddie, Abbie, or Lisa Nordick.
